Rotisserie is a style of roasting where meat is skewered and revolves over a flame or spit. The rotation slowly cooks the meat in its own juices and allows easy access for continuous basting.

Rotisserie is also a term used to describe Fantasy_sports games, particulary Fantasy_baseball. The first Fantasy_baseball league was called the Rotisserie League. The name was taken from the name of the restaurant where the league was organized, La Rotisserie.
