Roy Thinnes was born in Chicago in 1938.
He is a supberb actor, and really took to his craft seriously.
He starred in several series, the most well-known being the 1967-1968 season, entitled The Invaders.
Although he was somewhat typecast from then on, he engaged in a variety of roles, from commercial air pilot to psychiatrist. Each time, convincingly serious, evoking a character of trust, the almost boring, but true blue American hero; not the smart-alek, wise-cracking, lawyer-type, as we are so subjected to in today's hero cast; but from a genre that should be held in high esteem, as should this fine performer's contributions to movies and television.
His heritage is from Nancy, France and Germany.
