Saint-Hyacinthe (Ville de) town in southwestern Quebec east of Montreal on the Yamaska River. Population (2001 census) 50,394

Saint Hyacinthe's region invites you to the discovery of the perfect marriage of the rural and urban circles. Saint-Hyacinthe is the birthplace of prominent Quebec statesman, Yves Michaud.

It is the location of the famous Casavant Frères pipe organ builders.
