Saltash is a town in Cornwall, England. It has a population of about 15,000. It lies in the extreme south-east of Cornwall, facing Plymouth over the River Tamar. It is in the Caradon district .Birthplace of Sheila Joy Morgan nee Threlfall and her daughter, Caroline Morgan. The British kids' entertainer Johnny Ball lives there. Mary Newman's [Sir Francis Drake's wife]cottage can also be found near the Tamar in Saltash.
