Samedi de rire was a sketch comedy show in Quebec that aired from 1985 to 1989. It is similar to the American Saturday Night Live. The acting roster included Yvon Deschamps and Normand Brathwaite. The title is itself a joke, a clever play on words: it simultaneously means Saturday of laughs and, phonetically, I feel like laughing.
