Sankei Shimbun(産経新聞) is a Japanese language daily newspaper.
Sankei Shimbun is circulated around Japan. Sankei Shimbun's view is relatively similar to that of Yomiuri Shimbun, which is the most circulated newspaper in Japan, although Sankei Shimbun is more conservative.
The newspaper often has different opinions from the radical newspaper, Asahi Shimbun, which is the second most circulated newspaper in Japan. The difference often causes a lot of heated discussions between Sankei Shimbun and Asahi Shimbun. Osaka Main Office will move to Minatomachi, Naniwa-ku, Osaka in August, 2005.
