Santa Clarita Valley - Definition and Overview

The Santa Clarita Valley is part of the Santa Clara River valley in California, squeezed between the San Gabriel and Santa Susana Mountains to the South and the Sierra Pelona/Liebre Mountains/Topatopa Mountains to the North. Downstream of Santa Clarita, it is called Heritage Valley. The upstream portion is called Soledad Canyon.
