Sargeras is a fictional character in the Warcraft universe — a fictional universe in which a series of games and books are set.
Sargeras was introduced in Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, and was a demi-god of a high order that looked after worlds, the Titans. He was their champion against the demons of the Twisting Nether, their most powerful warrior. However, he fell from grace and sought to spread chaos over the universe and undo the work of the Titans. He set free the very demons that he had imprisoned, and with them formed the Burning Legion. He is known by many names, including the Great Enemy of all Life and the Dark God of the Nameless Void.
The Orcs of Draenor were originally of shamanistic nature, but Sargeras with his second in command, Kil'jaeden, forced them into a blood pact and made them the ferocious creatures that the Humans know.
