Scaled Composites Model 202 Boomerang

The Scaled Composites Model 202 Boomerang is an aircraft designed by Burt Rutan, and built by his company, Scaled Composites. The purpose is to test and demonstrate an aircraft with an asymmetrical (lengthwise) design. The Boomerang is powered by two engines, with the right engine producing 10 hp (7.5 kW) more power than the left one. Even with this discrepency (actually, because of it), the aircraft flies true without intervention. The Blohm & Voss Bv 141 is a previous aircraft, from World War II, with an asymmetrical layout.
