Scott McClellan (born 1968) is the White House Press Secretary for President George W. Bush. Until he replaced Ari Fleischer on July 15, 2003, he served as deputy press secretary. McClellan began working for President Bush in 1999 (when Bush was the Governor of Texas), as the deputy communications director. He served as Bush's traveling press secretary during the 2000 Presidential election.

McClellan's mother, Carole Keeton Strayhorn, is the Texas comptroller; McClellan is a three-time campaign manager for his mother. McClellan's brother, Mark McClellan, has been confirmed by the US Senate to run Medicare on March 12 2004 and was formerly a commissioner for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
