Sea Hunt was an Americantelevision adventure series from pioneering syndicator Ziv TV that ran from 1957 to 1961 and was popular in repeats for decades afterward. It followed the adventures of scuba diver Mike Nelson, played by Lloyd Bridges, as he outmaneuvered bad guys using his scuba skills. One unusual aspect of the series was that at the end of each episode, Bridges made a plea to protect the oceans. A shortlived revival starring Ron Ely appeared in 1987.
