Sexual penetration - Definition and Overview

Sexual penetration (as opposed to outercourse) typically involves the insertion of the penis into a bodily orifice.

Sexual penetration can also be performed with a finger or object.

Penetration with the penis is also known as intromission, or by the Latin name immissio penis.
