Shane McMahon - Definition and Overview

Shane McMahon (born January 15, 1970 in Gaithersburg, Maryland) is the son of World Wrestling Entertainment owner Vince McMahon, brother to Stephanie McMahon and an executive within the company. The 6'2" (1.88 m) McMahon is sometimes a performer; in his occasional in-ring appearances, he has become noted for extremely high-risk moves, including one dive onto The Big Show from a 40-foot tower (albeit with ample padding underneath his target).

Shane was once a color-commentator on Sunday Night Heat. He left his job to become a loyal ally to his father, Vince. Shane has also been a great competitor that he captured the now-defunct Hardcore and European championships. He was known for his high-risk moves which viewers must not try at home. Some believed that he will really risk life-and-limb for the success of the company and the independent circuit of the WWE. He has also some many memorable matches including a Street Fight against his father Vince McMahon, ending the match with a Van-Terminator together with a trash can on it. But most of all, his rivalry against Kane. It started when the already unmasked Kane tombstoned Shane's mother and WWE CEO Linda McMahon during on a RAW edition. Shane return with a vengeance and made several memorable RAW moments. The two have already undergo a Last Man Standing Match on Unforgiven 2003 and their final encounter on the first ever Ambulance Match on Survivor Series. Although Shane didn't win the matches, he had several unforgetable moments that Kane will never forget. One of those was the steel chair shots and those shots were one of the most remarkable shots in history, he also by-God dump Kane in a fiery dumpster, but most of all when he trapped Kane on a running limousine which was terribly crashed and vicously bursted in an 80-wheeler truck that made Kane critical in his condition (on-screen) during that time before their final encounter at Survivor Series.

He is now married to WWE publicist Marissa Mazzola, with whom he has a son named Declan James.
