Shimmy Disc - Definition

Shimmy Disc is an influencial New York City label founded by Mark Kramer. Before it was sold to the Knitting Factory, it was responsible for providing a mass audience for weird acts like Bongwater, Daniel Johnston, Fly Ashtray, Galaxie 500, King Missile, Ruins, and Uncle Wiggly.
