Corrugated steel siding, for the side of a barn. Siding can also refer to the outer covering of a house meant to shed water and protect from the effects of weather. Siding is often made out of wood (typically redwood, chestnut or oak, though many other durable woods can be used) but can also be made of vinyl or other materials.
