South Indian actress Simran

Simran Naval, known professionally as Simran, is an Indian film actress. Though she was born in Mumbai and made her debut in the Hindi film Tere Mere Sapne, the Tamil movie industry welcomed her with a red carpet. Her first Tamil film Once More with actor Vijay helped her make a mark in the Tamil film industry. After that, she ruled the dreams of the south indian youths from 1996 to 2004. In 2004, year she married Deepak Bagga, a childhood friend.

She was dating actor-cum-dancer Raju Sundaram. It is rumoured that she also had an affair with Kamal Hassan. Her dominance of the tamil film industry is wearing off now with new comers such as Trisha, Sneha and Jyothika establishing themselves.
