"Sins of the Father" is the title of an episode from the third season of Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Worf's brother Kurn appears on the Enterprise. Together, they leave to seek justice for the crime their father did not commit, treason against the Klingon empire. During the trial at the Homeworld, the leaders conspire to condemn Worf. Duras, the real traitor, tries to kill Kurn in an effort to defer Worf's trial. Worf cannot win and is advised by the council to accept the dishonour and be exiled. Worf takes the advice, hoping that it would keep the Klingon empire together.
