Sixteen Feet is the oldest currently active a cappella group at Swarthmore College. The group was founded as an all-male octet (hence the name) in the early 1980s. They have produced numerous albums and tour actively around the East Coast, where they are recognized by their trademark plaid and bare feet. They recently expanded the group to 11 members, which has been a debatable improvement sound-wise and an indisputable disaster name-wise.
