Skagull Skagull

Skagull - Definition and Overview

Skagul or Skögul (battle) was a valkyrie. She filled Odin's horn with mead, and her name was used in several kennings to denote "war", such as Skögul's wind and Skögul's storm. The kenning Skögul's shirt meant "chainmail".
