Sketches for My Sweetheart the Drunk
(1998)

Sketches for My Sweetheart the Drunk is a collection of four-track demos and other sessions recorded by Jeff Buckley. It was released posthumously on 26 May 1998. The demos were recorded for an album - to be titled My Sweetheart, the Drunk - which was never finished, as the rest of the band was traveling to meet Buckley at the time of his death. Despite its unfinished state, the album garnered many positive reviews; The Onion's AV Club called it "frustratingly incomplete, but mostly remarkable". The title is sometimes rendered with parentheses, as Sketches (for My Sweetheart the Drunk).
