A Slim Jim is a popular type of beef jerky snack made by ConAgra Foods, Inc. Known for their "snappy" texture, salty taste, and implausibly silly marketing techniques aimed at teenagers, they have become very popular in the United States. Over 500 million of them are produced each year in over 18 varieties, including original, Tabasco sauce flavored, and so called "chopped and formed jerky."
