Smart shops are shops that sell psychoactive substances and related paraphernalia. Common products are magic mushrooms and bongs. Smart shops can be found primarily in Holland, but also in other countries. Though "magic mushrooms" are considered hard drugs in most countries, Dutch laws tolerates the sale of fresh, unprepared mushrooms, thus making it possible to sell them for recreational use.
