Smoke-free restaurants - Definition and Overview |
|
A directory for customers
As the personal health implications of passive smoking are more widely understood, an increase in the number of restaurants and bars wherein customers and staff are expected not to smoke is likely. Many trade unions are advocating smoking bans in the interests of members who are employed on smoke-affected premises.
Some premises use signage to advise prospective customers of their anti-smoking policy. Many customers will find it helpful to discover which venues are likely to be smoke-free before deciding where to go. This page can host weblinks to act as a portal to such information.
