Social entrepreneur refers to an individual who uses business and/or other professional methods to find a practical way to solve a social problem or need. They often set up a non-profit charity or voluntary organisation to drive their project forward and/or consolidate it. To the extent that they succeeed, that person often becomes seen as a leader, a role model, and a fulcrum of a particular community.
