Soldiers Under Command - Definition and Overview

Soldiers Under Command was the debut album of the Christian metal band Stryper. It was released on May 15, 1985 and was the first Christian metal album to sell more than 500'000 copies.

They made two singles from the album, the first on with Soldiers under Command released on June 11, 1985, and the second one featuring Reach Out on September 30, 1985. The B-side was in both cases Together As One.

During their tour, they filmed the Live In Japan video on July 8, 1985, which would be released in March 1986.
