Somerset Island within Nunavut

Somerset Island is a large island in the Baffin Region of Nunavut, Canada, lying off the Boothia peninsula. It has an area of 9,570 square miles (24,786 km²).
Port Leopold on the island's northeast coast and Fort Ross on its southeastern were formerly Hudson's Bay Company outposts. The island is uninhabited.
