South American Championship 1925 - Definition and Overview

The ninth edition of the South American Championship was held in Buenos Aires, Argentina from November 29 to December 25, 1925.

This tournament is called Copa América since 1975.

The participating countries were Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay.

Chile and Uruguay withdrew from the tournament, making this edition, the one with less participating teams. The tournament was rescheduled to be held in two rounds.

Each team plays two matches against each of the other teams. Two (2) points are awarded for a win, one (1) point for a draw and zero (0) points for a defeat.
