South American Championship 1927 - Definition and Overview

The eleventh edition of the South American Championship was held in Lima, Peru from October 30 to November 27, 1927.

This tournament is called Copa América since 1975.

The participating countries were Argentina, Bolivia, Peru national football team, and Uruguay.

Brazil, Chile and Paraguay withdrew from the tournament. First time Peru takes part in the event.

Matches

Each team plays two matches against each of the other teams. Two (2) points are awarded for a win, one (1) point for a draw and zero (0) points for a defeat.
