South Glamorgan is a ceremonial preserved county of Wales, one of the divisions of the traditional county of Glamorgan. From 1974 until 1994, it was also an administrative county.

South Glamorgan is now split into the unitary authorities of Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan, which were the districts of the former administrative county. In 1994, Wick, St Bride's Major, Ewenny and Pentyrch were moved from Mid Glamorgan into South Glamorgan.
