Rona, sometimes called South Rona to distinguish it from North Rona, is a small island in the Scottish Inner Hebrides, north of Raasay and north east of Skye.

Rona was bought by the British Government in 1922, along with Raasay. This enabled most of the island's inhabitants to return to their ancestral homes on Raasay, and the island soon became uninhabited, with the exception of two lighthouse keepers living at its north end. The ruins of Rona's main settlement, Acairseid Thioram can still be seen, and are being restored to accommodate archaeological and environmental working parties.

The island now has one inhabitant, who lives at Big Harbour, where boats can dock.
