Stadium Rock was a term that referred to a large concert usually held in stadiums. It was most popular in the late seventies and eighties, and bands like Journey, Aerosmith and Queen held concerts in this form.
More recently, bands like U2, the Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen and Metallica have held stadium rock concerts.
