Stanisław Witkiewicz (1851–1915) was a Polish writer, painter and art theoretician, father of Witkacy (Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz). Creator of Zakopane style, styl zakopiański (or Witkiewicz style, styl witkiewiczowski) — see picture in Polish article on styl zakopiański. He was strongly tied to Zakopane and was always promoting it in the art community.
