Stanstead is located upon the Canada-USA border across from Derby Line, Vermont. Notable landmarks include Centenary United Church (Stanstead) and the Haskell Free Library and Opera House of Rock Island, Québec. The villages of Rock Island and Beebe were made part of the town of Stanstead in 1995.
