Stantonbury is an area of Milton Keynes, England. It is situated to the north of the town between Great Linford and Haversham. It is the location of a large college, called Stantonbury Campus. Stantonbury is one of the former villages of Buckinghamshire that were built on to produce the urban sprawl of Milton Keynes in the 1960s. The village name is Anglo Saxon in origin, and means 'fortified building by a farm on stony ground'.
