The StarCraft universe is a fictional universe in which the StarCraft series of computer games and books are set. Known worlds of this fantasy universe are Aiur (homeworld of the Protoss), Shakuras (homeworld of the Protoss Dark Templar), and Tarsonis (the main colony of the Terrans).

Locations

• Moria is a Terran colony in the Koprulu Sector of the StarCraft universe. It was one of the first three colonies set by the Terrans in deep space. It was on Moria that James Raynor and Fenix located all the resources for the uprising of Kerrigan. It was also the planet on which the Argo spaceship crashed.
• Tarsonis is a Terran colony in the Koprulu Sector of the StarCraft universe. It was one of the first three colonies set by the Terrans in deep space and the main Terran colony of the sector. Until the rise of the Sons of Korhal this planet was the capital world of the Confederacy.
• Umoja is a Terran colony in the Koprulu Sector of the StarCraft universe. It was one of the first three colonies set up by the Terrans in deep space.
• Chau Sara is an outlying Terran colony, and one of the first to be invaded by the Zerg.
• Mar Sara is a an outlying Terran colony, and one of the first to be invaded by the Zerg.
• Korhal IV is a Terran colony, and the headquaters of the Sons of Korhal. This planet rose up against the Confederacy, and in retaliation the Confederacy launched a massive planatary bombardment of nuclear weaponry aimed at eliminating the dissents, transforming the planet into a nuclear desert.
• Aiur is the homeworld planet of the Protoss. The planet is full of vegetation, making it a world of jungles.
• Shakuras is the homeworld planet of the Protoss Dark Templars.
• Zerus is the planet that was the homeworld of the Zerg, and is an inhospitable ash-world that was once full of insectoid giant creatures.
• Antiga Prime was the first world to openly revolt against the Terran Confederacy during the rise of the Terran Dominion. During the battle of Antiga Prime, a psi-emitter was released to attract the Zerg to the Confederate forces.
• Char was the staging area of the Zerg during their search for, and consequent invasion of, Aiur.
• Dylaria is the location of several major Terran shipyards, and was the location of one of the major fleet battles between the Terran Dominion and the UED.
