Starburst is the brand name of a chewy, fruit-flavored candy manufactured by Mars, Incorporated. Starburst was known as Opal Fruits in the UK and Ireland until 1998. Several variants of the candy exist; including different flavor sets. Also available are Starburst jellybeans, lollipops, candy canes, and lip gloss (the latter in a partnership with Lip Smackers).
