Missing image Stevan_Supljikac.gif Stevan Supljikac (1786-1848), first Duke of Serbian Vojvodina Stevan Supljikac (1786–1848) was the first Duke of Serbian Vojvodina. He entered Austrian army in 1805. From 1806 to 1814 he was a French officer. He was awarded the Legion’s medal and in 1842 he become a colonel. In 1848 he was chosen for Duke of Serbian Vojvodina. He died on duty in 1848 in Pancevo and was buried in monastery of Krusedol. See also
