- This article is about the island near Seattle, U.S.A. For the third-largest island in New Zealand, see Stewart Island
Stuart Island is a small island in the Northwest part of the United States San Juan Islands. Home to two distinct communities of full and part-time residents, a popular marine State Park, and a one-room schoolhouse, Stuart Island balances the beauty of the region with easy access to the more developed islands as well as the Seattle metro region.
