The term Surfboard can refer to:

  • Used for Surfing, the popular recreational water sport and activity, surfboards are divided into three types: shortboard, funboard or longboard.
  • A series of cable modem made originally by General Instrument, which was acquired by Motorola in September 1999.

Surfboard

A board used for Surfing it is made with foam, fiberglass, and wood. The core of a surfboard is made of foam, strengthened by a stringer, a long piece of wood. Fiberglass is used to cover the board, then epoxy is used to harden the outside.
