Swami Kriyananda - Definition

J. Donald Walters, better known as Swami Kriyananda, a direct disciple of Paramahansa Yogananda during the last few years of Yogananda's life until the latter's death in 1952.

Kriyananda parted from the Self-Realization Fellowship to pursue his own vision of the task he saw entrusted to him by Yogananda, namely the creation of cooperative communities based on spiritual principles.
