The European Symphonic Game Music Concert series started in 2003 (08 / 20).
The first historic concert took place at the Gewandhaus zu Leipzig in Germany, performed by the Czech National Symphony Orchestra under direction of Andy Brick. This sold-out event appeared to be the first video game music concert outside of Japan ever.
The second concert took place in 2004 (08 / 18), conducted by Andy Brick, performed by the FILMharmonic Orchestra Prague. Once again, the event was sold-out, this time three weeks before the actual concert.
The third concert is scheduled for 2005 (08 / 17).
The European Symphonic Game Music Concerts are the official opening ceremonies of Europe's biggest trading fair for video games, the GC Games Convention.
