TV Tome (pronounced as in "large book") is a website devoted to detailed episode guides of English-language television shows. It is run mainly by devoted volunteer editors.
The site contains 2,300 complete episode guides, over 3,400 developing guides, and filmographies for 250,000 television actors and crew people.
The site is under the ownership of Collaborative Content, LLC, which currently deals strictly with this site.
The site creator created a spin off site, Movie Tome, in the Winter of 2003/2004.

TV Tome is comprised of three main types of pages.
Show Page
Contains overall information about a TV series. It is divided into six sections:
- Show Introduction - contains general information about the history and premise of the show.
- Show Information - contains specific information about the show, such as its network, status, and country of origin.
- Stars - a list of regular actors on the show, with their roles and links to their information pages.
- Crew - a list of regular crew members of the show, with their jobs and links to their information pages.
- News - a section for current news items regarding the show.
- Show DVDs (Added Autumn 2004) - a section for DVDs of the show that have been or are set to be released to the public.
Episode Page
Contains information about one episode of a series. It is divided into seven sections:
- Episode Information - contains specific information about the episode, such as its original airdate and list of its guest stars
- Episode Synopsis - a brief summary of the plot of the episode
- Notes - trivia about the episode, or any information that doesn't belong in the other sections
- Quotes - memorable lines from the episode
- Goofs - technical, factual, or continuity mistakes visible in the episode
- Analysis - a place for an in-depth look at or critique of the episode
- References - lists and explanations of TV shows, movies, songs, or other media that are indirectly or directly referred to within the dialogue and action of the episode
Person Page
Contains information on a person associated with TV. It is divided into five sections:
- Biographical Information - contains standard information about the person, such as their name, birthdate, death date, etc.
- Notes - bits of trivia about the person, or any information that doesn't belong in the other sections
- News - a place for current news items regarding the person
- Crew Credits - a list of links to TV Tome pages that credit the person for crew work
- Appearances - a list of links to TV Tome pages that credit the person for acting appearances. Is divided into subsections:
- Starring Roles - a list of links to the main pages of shows that the person regularly played on, listed with their role
- Guest Starring/Co-Starring Roles - a list of links to episodes that the person guest starred on. Also contains links to the shows that the episodes were from.
- Movie Roles - a list of links to Movie Tome pages of movies, miniseries and TV specials that the person appeared in
TV Tome relies on contributions from editors and site members to fill in the information pages.
