Talk:Dentsu - Definition

This article is mainly advertising, although it does appear to have some potentially useful information. I didn't find the text on the company's web site, as that is done in Flash, not HTML, but the info is clearly identical with an advertisement posted on one of their customers' web sites, the link to which I added to the page as suggested in the VFD guidelines.

  • That's a copyright violation. It doesn't have to be the company's own website to be a violation - the text was clearly copied from the site you reference; that's enough to make it illegal to post here. DJ Clayworth 15:00, 6 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Article listed as a copyright violation July 14 2004 as it had received no clear votes on vfd; no reason to re-list on vfd if it is a copyvio anyway. -- Graham ☺ | Talk 00:22, 14 Jul 2004 (UTC)

The author of the article is a Dentsu guy who wrote the company description for the Hawaiian Tourism Authority. He owns the copyright, thus no infringement. Company information does always "advertise" the services of that company. However, some people do not want information about Dentsu here, because its the largest advertsing agency in the world and therefore has many critics. Some people seem to pursue deleting as a hobby...
