Tantui (彈腿/潭腿), or "springy legs," is a style based on kicks, created in Northern China. It is composed of a series of forms, which emphasize blocking, stances, footwork, and most of all, kicks. Tantui exists as a style on its own, but it is more often found used as basic forms for styles like Chaquan. |
