The Tapwave Zodiac is a Palm OS 5-based PDA, and the first Palm-based device developed with gaming as a primary consideration. In addition to the standard Date Book, Address Book, To Do List, and Memo Pad Palm OS PIM functions, the Zodiac also ships with the Stuntcar Extreme and AcidSolitaire games, an MP3 player, the Kinoma Video Player and Producer, photo handling ability, PalmReader with The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and The Last of the Mohicans, the powerOne graphing calculator, WordSmith Word Processor, Inkstorm, and Alarm Clock. Also included are an eponymous web browser, called Browser, and SMS capability. All OS 5 compatible games play on the Zodiac, as well as games designed specifically to take advantage of the Zodiac's hardware.
