TeamTalk 252 was a short-lived sport-based radio station, based partially in the Republic of Ireland and partially in the English city of Leeds, which broadcast to the UK and Ireland for a few months in spring and summer 2002 on the longwave frequency (252 kHz/1190 metres) formerly used by the music station Atlantic 252. It unsuccessfully attempted to compete with the British station TalkSport, and with the sport output of BBC Radio Five Live, and like those stations it was also available on digital satellite television.
Its Irish long wave transmitter has since been reallocated to RTÉ Radio 1.
