After the destruction of the World Tree by Archimonde, during the plot of Warcraft III, a group of night elves created a new source of magic, a new World Tree. This tree, created off of the northern coast of Kalimdor, was named Teldrassil.
Teldrassil is the home of the Night Elves, and is the starting location for Night Elves in the MMORPG World of Warcraft.
