The All Saved Freak Band was founded by Glenn Schwartz, the original guitarist for the James Gang (he was replaced by Joe Walsh). The group recorded several Jesus Music minor masterpieces -- the best being perhaps Brainwashed or the Tolkien-influenced For Christians, Elves & Lovers.
The group became a Christian doomsday cult in Orwell, Ohio and now live without phones or contact to the outside world.
