The Broadways - Definition and Overview

The Broadways were a powerful melodic punk band from Chicago, Illinois. The group formed after the dissolution of legendary Chicago ska-punk band Slapstick, and was, like Slapstick, fronted by Brendan Kelly. Political, social, and introspective themes abound in their profound lyrics.

The band broke up in 1999, and members later formed The Lawrence Arms and The Honor System.

Brendan Kelly - High vocals/bass
