The Casualties are a street punk band, formed in the early 90s with an ever changing cast of musicians, but the lead singer, Jorge, remains the same. Their first demo was recorded in 1990, and they are still touring in 2004. They started making music in an effort to bring back the hardcore punk sound and style of many British hardcore punk bands (also known as uk82) such as Blitz, The Partisans, One Way System and The Exploited. They also formed
their own label Charged Records.
